"I promise you that if you will keep your journals and records, they will indeed be a source of great inspiration to your families, to your children, your grandchildren, and others, on through the generations. Each of us is important to those who are near and dear to us-and as our posterity read of our life's experiences, they too, will come to know and love us. And in that glorious day when our families are together in the eternities, we will already be acquainted. What could you do better for your children and your children's children than to record the story of your life, your triumphs over adversity, your recovery after a fall, your progress when all seemed black, your rejoicing when you had finally achieved? Some of what you write may be humdrum dates and places, but there will also be rich passages that will be quoted by your posterity. We hope you will begin as of this date." ~Spencer W. Kimball

"In family relationships, love is really spelled t-i-m-e." _Dieter F. Uchtdorf

A persons own family is without a doubt, the greatest wealth that we will ever possess. Treasure every moment and take the time to ensure that the story you create is one that you will be proud of and look back on with a huge smile.

Happy Birthday Bree!

Happy Birthday my dear, beautiful, darling girl!
Thank you for everything you do! Thank you for loving me unconditionally.
I love you and your beautiful family!

We ended Brianna’s birthday night with face masks that Aubrey got us!
Deacon’s was a men’s mask and he said it felt volcanic!

Megan And Kodys Wedding Day

Aubrey spent a few days with Bree, Travis, and Deacon in Idaho.
I went to Twin Falls with them and got to hang out with Deacon while Bree and Travis attended Kody’s wedding in the Twin Falls Temple.

Twitterpated

Last night I dreamt of Dick.
He was being so cute! We were both in our twenties. He was kissing me so romantic and I loved it!
I could really feel his lips on mine.
Oh how I miss his kisses and how I miss him!
All day today I’ve felt so twitterpated.
 Almost like it really happened!
 I think it did happen.
I think he really was here.

Happy Birthday Richie III

Today we drove to Logan for Brianna’s appointment. She had a bleed in her eye about 2 months ago. Brianna has been a Type 1 diabetic since she was 8. The hemorrhages she gets in her eyes are caused from high sugars throughout the years. Dick found an amazing retina specialist for her from SLC that goes to Logan once a week. Today she received another shot. The medication the doctor injects helps dissolve the old blood that’s still in the back of her eye. After the appointment we had a board meeting for the Unicorn Theatre. Bree, Aubrey, and I are all board members. Finally, after the meeting, we all met at Richie and Chrislynn’s house because it was Richie III’s birthday. My oldest grandson is 14! He is handsome, smart, kind, and I love him!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE RICHIE!!!

Sayda

I’ve tried so many times to start blogging again and I haven’t been able to start. The month after my very last post, my Christmas post, we were told that Dick would have to go home on hospice. He passed away that following month. I think one of the reasons I haven’t been able to start blogging again is because in order to start again, I have to start with a very painful 2018.

I had a very interesting thing that happened at 11:00pm tonight. I was laying on my stomach in my bed, getting ready to start a movie on Netflix when I heard Dick call my name. He said... Sayda.  The way he used to say it when he needed me to go to him. It was clear as could be. Just the way he pronounced my name... (Sī the). I looked to my right and looked at his big picture that hangs on the wall. I looked at him for a while, forgetting it was just a picture and not really him. I said, “Yes? Do you need to tell me something Dick?” It was within minutes that I felt like I needed to write this experience on my online journal. Not Facebook! Write about hearing his voice. HIS voice! I love his voice! I never want to forget what his voice sounded like. I felt him so close when he called my name. I know he is still with us. We just can’t see him. Anyway, as I signed in to blogger, I realized  that what he needed to tell me was that I need to start blogging again. I post so much on Facebook because I keep telling myself that I will transfer all those posts to my blog but  I never do it. I’m not going to wait until I catch up anymore. I’m going to start posting again and little by little I will blog on the past year and a half that I missed.

I LOVE YOU MR. CALL!
