"I promise you that if you will keep your journals and records, they will indeed be a source of great inspiration to your families, to your children, your grandchildren, and others, on through the generations. Each of us is important to those who are near and dear to us-and as our posterity read of our life's experiences, they too, will come to know and love us. And in that glorious day when our families are together in the eternities, we will already be acquainted. What could you do better for your children and your children's children than to record the story of your life, your triumphs over adversity, your recovery after a fall, your progress when all seemed black, your rejoicing when you had finally achieved? Some of what you write may be humdrum dates and places, but there will also be rich passages that will be quoted by your posterity. We hope you will begin as of this date." ~Spencer W. Kimball

"In family relationships, love is really spelled t-i-m-e." _Dieter F. Uchtdorf

A persons own family is without a doubt, the greatest wealth that we will ever possess. Treasure every moment and take the time to ensure that the story you create is one that you will be proud of and look back on with a huge smile.

Aubrey's senior pictures and graduation announcements

I love Aubrey's senior pictures and her announcements.
The only problem is that with the editing, the photographer removed her beauty mark on most of the photos.

Good Night The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe

It was a fun show and they're ready for their next one.
 A full house too!

I love that the girls got to work with their grandfather!

Lucy and Father Christmas. In this picture he's giving Lucy (aka Sophia and Grandpa) weapons that she can use in the upcoming battle between Good and Evil.

Sophie, you've done an AMAZING job. Grandma and Grandpa are so proud of you. Remember to always believe in yourself and never let go of your dreams. I know you will always chose to be honest, kind, sincere, strong, and loving. I know you will always be true to yourself.
 We love you princess.

My birthday in Logan

I had a great birthday!
We're still at Dad Vosco's house.
Dick and I have been staying in the Blue Room.

We met with some dear friends for lunch at the Elements Restaurant. Dick went to school with Neil and Tamara McMurdie.
They live in Connecticut. The last time we saw them was at Dick's 10 year reunion. It' been 30 years since we saw them!
We stay in contact through social media so we always know what's going on in each other's lives.
I love these people!

From Giselle

Giselle also treated me to the best pedicure EVER!

I had ice cream with Dad, Giselle, Chrislynn, and my
beautiful grandchildren.

The family took me to Olive Garden after rehearsal.
We were missing our Burley kiddos.

Beautiul Grace and Josie.

Birthday wishes from my 3 girls...

From Giselle:

It was my Cute Little Mama's Birthday yesterday and she stayed up late helping me with projects. She's always doing so much for everyone. I love you Mom, we'll be continuing the celebration!
i carry your heart with me (i carry it in
my heart) i am never without it (anywhere
i go you go, my dear;...

i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)

From Brianna:

It was this sassy lady's birthday today and I want to take a minute to let you all know how much I appreciate her. I love my mom so much! To say that I'm close to her is an understatement. There isn't a mother on Earth who is more "in tune" with her children than mine. There is not a day that goes by that I don't thank my Father in Heaven for this woman. The love that she has for every member of her family. The passion. The silliness. The advice. Her desire to ease my burdens. I don't know what any of us would do without her. She is the first person I call when I have a problem, when I can't sleep, or when I just need someone to listen. She always knows just what to say and when nothing should be said at all. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Thank you for taking care of my little family, especially our sweet Deacon! Thank you for never making me feel like I am anything less than perfect in your eyes. I love you birthday girl! I can't wait until you're home so we can celebrate!

From Aubrey:

I think that this picture describes my beautiful mom perfectly. Thank you for your patience and for loving our family unconditionally. I love you to the moon and back. Happy birthday.

I love this little family of mine!

Feeling Nostolgic... Our little house

Today Dick woke up in so much pain. I thought we could drive around Logan in the rain feeling nostalgic to get his mind off the pain. Dick and I are parked across the street from our little house. Memories are flooding our hearts and minds. We lived in this house as newlyweds almost 38 years ago and shortly after had 2 little angels join us... Richie II and Giselle. Passing by USU theater department, made us think that back in those days, Dick's father was a professor in the theater department and Richie, the little boy we wrestled with in this house is now a professor in that same theater department. Giselle, the little thumb-sucking baby girl with golden curls lives in this house now as an adult. She is graduating from USU this month and runs The Unicorn Children's Theatre that Dick's mother founded.

Logan for over a week for Dick's rehearsal and the Unicorn play.

Rehearsal for The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Directed by Richie Call.
(Unicorn Theatre)

Giselle leading warm up exercises with the children before rehearsal starts.
All of these children are in her Unicorn classes.

I love him!
I love his strength and determination!
 His cancer is back.
He's on chemotherapy again. He has lost total use of his right arm. He's in pain 90% of the time but he never gives up because he's a cancer warrior.
Memorizing lines has been so difficult for Dick because he's on so much pain medication and because of his chemo brain.
He's been working hard though.

Sophia played the roll of Lucy.

Grace played a mouse in Reepicheeps army.

I love this picture of Lucy and Father Christmas (aka Sophia and Grandpa) in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
In this picture he's giving Lucy weapons that she can use in the upcoming battle between Good and Evil.
Sophie, is doing an AMAZING job.
Grandma and Grandpa are so proud of you Sophia. Remember to always believe in yourself and never let go of your dreams. I know you will always chose to be honest, kind, sincere, strong, and loving.
I know you will always be true to yourself.

We'll be in Logan for over a week so that Dick can rehearse with the cast.
