Today we went bowling as a family. I love how when Dick and I decide to do an activity with Anson and Aubrey, the older children join us. Travis was working today, so he wasn't able to come.
Dad was so worried about bowling. He used to be a great bowler and since his leg surgery, he hasn't done any serious bowling. His form was almost just as good.
Deacon was very interested in the bowling balls. He couldn't keep his eyes off them. He kept saying, "ball, ball, ball!"
Deacon teaching Bree and Grandpa how to keep score.
The nachos and pizza were delicious!
Travis fixing us some burgers. It was too cold to barbecue outside.
We came home and fixed tons of treats to bring in the new year.Giselle made the best artichoke/spinach dip I have ever tasted.
That girl is the best cook and baker. I think she inherited it from her Grandmother Ruth Call.
Brianna made some croissants with cream cheese and chives and Deacon loved them.

Deacon was the first one to sample the treats. I love this picture of his little legs crossed. I used to eat this way. I have to concentrate really hard not to sit this way when I'm eating now.
After bowling, Giselle bought us the "Just Dance 2" Wii game.
It was so much fun seeing everyone dance!
John Gochnour and his wife came to the house before the count down and made the end of 2010 perfect for us.
John graduated from high school with Giselle. Dick was his speech/drama coach in the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade.
He will always be like a part of our family.
He is a lawyer now in Arizona. That is where his wife is from.
Thank you Gochners for taking the time to see us.
