I am done with my 80 hours and Anson is playing for the Midgets!!!
I've been working at Dr. Petersen's ambulatory surgery center. I had to work 80 hours under another nurse with my temporary license in order to get my permanent license. Well.....I finished my 80 hours Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They've offered me a prn position, which means I can choose the days I can go in. That way I'll keep up on my nursing skills and I can also be a stay at home mom. I also will never let my license expire again. It's quite the ordeal I had to go through to get it back. That was pretty foolish of me. I've really enjoyed working at Dr. Petersen's. The other nurses I work with are great! The office staff are very professional and they are great too.
Today was Anson's first hockey practice. They moved him up with the high school kids. (The Midgets) He is playing with 16, 17 and 18 year olds. It's pretty scary! Anson is a big kid but he is just a baby. This league plays so fast, I could hardly keep up with the hockey ball. The older kids were so nice to Anson. Even though he was taller than half of the team, they treated him like a little boy. It seems like the junior high school kids are more competitive and they are so rude and mean, even if they are in the same team. They were always telling Anson what he was doing wrong instead of the coach. Anson has one of those personalities that does not care, and it takes a lot to make him upset. He just kept on playing. I guess junior high kids feel like they have to proof they are tough or something. He was also so much bigger then everyone else that if he ran into someone, they went flying and Anson would go in the penalty box. Even though he shouldn't have been penalized. It was just that the person he ran into weighed 1/3 less then him. Now I worry about one of those big guys running into my baby boy. I think it will be great when the kids in his old league (the Bantams) find out Anson moved up and 99.9% of them didn't. There will be some angry kids and parents. Can't wait for the first game tomorrow. Even though I get pretty ugly when I'm screaming for my team. I get so embarrassed at myself, but I can't control it. Fun times!
Richie, Chrislynn and the children will be in Utah soon! Can't wait to see them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sometimes I have to pinch myself because I can't believe I am the grandmother of those two special spirits. I love my daughter in law, Chrislynn so, so much. Our little family is growing and soon there will be more.

Now what should we do for Mom?
Hey! It's Bree. Well... Aubrey's birthday came and went. I made this little slideshow so that everyone can be a part of it. We wish you all could have been there. Everything turned out so cute! We had it in the Little Theater at Dad's school. Mom was feeling really sick the night before, so Travis, Dad, and me made the 2 ladybug cakes. If Mom had made them, they would have been A LOT cuter! She would have made the body a lot more domed (I don't know how to put into words what I mean, but I think you get the idea). I actually had to work on Saturday, so I didn't get to stay for the whole party but I did stop by for my lunch hour. The kids seemed to be having a lot of fun! And everything was decorated SO cute! Mom said Anson and Travis helped her so much, plus the little girls were totally in love with them. Mom did such a good job putting it all together. Everything looked amazing from the invitations to the party antennas! It was adorable. The antennas were a huge hit! The kids loved everything. I can't wait to do it again. Now we just have to plan something for Mom on Friday...

Happy Birthday Aubrey!
This is the creation Aubrey came up with and Brianna made. The bottom layer was Oatmeal Cream Pies, a layer of vanilla ice cream, and then crushed up Oreos sprinkled on top. It was really tasty! Good idea Aubs.
Aubrey posing with some of her presents and birthday cake.
Anson has been doing this since he was really little... he just can't seem to stop. His head just appears out of nowhere.
Mom and Dad with the Birthday Girl!
Mom made all of Aubrey's favorites... Enchiladas, cucumber with vinegar and lemon pepper, and strawberries!
These are the invitations and ladybug antennas for Aubrey's party on Saturday. As you can tell, the theme is Ladybugs. We'll even have a ladybug cake and everyone will be wearing red or black. Bree, Travis, and Mom stayed up till 2am last night making them.

I can hardly wait!
Mom and I are going shopping for a wedding dress tomorrow!!! I am so excited! I never thought I would be doing this. It feels SO good!
I'm going to have a chocolate fountain at my reception... YUM! This is a picture of one. I don't know if it will be quite this extravagant, but it's going to rock everyone's socks off for sure! I want to have 2 of them. One milk chocolate, and one white chocolate. Thank you so much Sissy for taking care of this for me.

I want a pool in my backyard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My sister Vilma sent me some pictures on my cell phone. These are her grandchildren playing in their pool. (Joseph 13, Claudia 9, and Mickaela 1) I am so jealous! I thought we were having great spring weather until I saw these pictures. Now I think Burley is too cold. I wish we were neighbors so that our kids could enjoy the pool too. I remember last December when our family went to Texas for Christmas. (All the grandchildren were in the pool.) They were all so cute! Joseph and Anson being the same age. Claudia, James, Jackie, Sasha and Aubrey all around the same age too. Also I remember 2 summers ago. Vilma, my oldest sister and I had some wonderful visits while we played in the pool. Sometimes it's good to be close to family. I miss their giving hearts and all the good times. Hopefully we'll make it for Christmas this year again.

Fun things that I did during Spring break
I finished my homework so I wanted to write about what I did during my spring break. On Monday I went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks with Anson, Bree and Travis. Mom and dad went to Twin Falls for their date. When they came back, they brought tons of groceries from Winco. On Tuesday we were in Ogden and went to the coolest miniature golf place. Everything was glow in the dark. My mom's nails looked awesome. Anything white looked like it was glowing. Our teeth and eyes looked so weird. On Wednesday, my dad took me, just by myself to go see The Spiderwick Chronicles. It is now my favorite movie and book. I don't have the book but I'm going to get it. I like it more than Hairspray. BIG SURPRISE! On Thursday my dad took Anson and I to see Horton Hears A Who. I loved it so much. It is the coolest movie. It was hilarious, even bigger than hilarious, but I don't know the word. I would love to see it with the whole family. During the break we did alot of yard work with my dad. All that work made me tired during my break. Can you believe that? Dad loves yard work but that doesn't mean I do. Sammy came everyday to play. On Friday she spent the night and she even leaves her toothbrush here. Weird little girl. I wanted to do alot of stuff that we couldn't do but it was still very fun. I love my dad for taking me to all those movies. He loves to go eat the popcorn with lots of butter. He sneaks it when mom is not there. Now we are back in school and have homework everyday. Love, Aubrey
