"I promise you that if you will keep your journals and records, they will indeed be a source of great inspiration to your families, to your children, your grandchildren, and others, on through the generations. Each of us is important to those who are near and dear to us-and as our posterity read of our life's experiences, they too, will come to know and love us. And in that glorious day when our families are together in the eternities, we will already be acquainted. What could you do better for your children and your children's children than to record the story of your life, your triumphs over adversity, your recovery after a fall, your progress when all seemed black, your rejoicing when you had finally achieved? Some of what you write may be humdrum dates and places, but there will also be rich passages that will be quoted by your posterity. We hope you will begin as of this date." ~Spencer W. Kimball

"In family relationships, love is really spelled t-i-m-e." _Dieter F. Uchtdorf

A persons own family is without a doubt, the greatest wealth that we will ever possess. Treasure every moment and take the time to ensure that the story you create is one that you will be proud of and look back on with a huge smile.

Aubrey... Natural Beauty

Throughout her childhood, I kept thinking about what I could teach my little daughter.
I know I did a good job because now that she’s grown up,
I am thinking about what I can learn from her.

Let's do something crazy!

Dick always sits on his recliner while we watch television. I always sit next to him. ALWAYS!
Yesterday...

Dick: Everyone is off doing something fun and exciting except you and I.
Me: I know!
Dick: You want to do something crazy?
Me: Like what!?!
Dick: You sit here and I sit there.

I LOVE THIS CRAZY MAN!

Aubrey's last day as a junior in high school

Aubrey's last day as a junior in high school.
Aubrey has such a special spirit. She's loyal to her friends,
carries herself with such grace, strong and courageous, kind,
shows her joyful heart when she smiles, loves and looks up to her older siblings,
she's patient with two older parents, so willing to help two older parents,
she listens, and she makes wise choices that make me proud.
When our lives get pretty crazy,
she puts us at ease with her calm voice and her calm demeanor.
Our youngest daughter will be a senior next year.

Cycle 6

His platelets have to be over 100 to get chemotherapy. They were 99 so they let him continue with cycle #6. His WBC has climbed a little. He was even able to attend church yesterday. Hopefully the rest of his blood count numbers will gradually get better with this dosage reduction. He certainly is tolerating the chemo better with a lower dosage. CT scans scheduled with next cycle.

We met our "grand" dog... Brooks!

On our way to SLC, we stopped in Brigham City to meet the new addition to our family. He's beautiful and grandma and grandpa love him already.

Aubrey 2016-2017 Senior Class President

Aubrey is 2016-2017 senior class president!

Aubrey loves her class! She's so excited about planning class reunions in years to come and I know she'll do a great job!

Aubrey, you are so deserving.
 YOU, my dear, amaze me.
Considering you've been through so much at such a young age,
you don't let it bring you down.
You are a pillar of strength to all of us and we love you.
Those kids are lucky to have you as their president!
Thanks for always standing strong

District Tennis 2016

BHS had their District Tennis match today.

Dick, Deacon, and I took a drive to Sun Valley to watch Aubrey and Josh. (Mixed Doubles) They were amazing! They won the first match. (6-1 6-2) They lost against the second school. (4-6 5-6) And they also lost to the 3rd school in a tiebreaker. That was an intense match! So close! They won't be going to state but they played really well!
We are so proud of you Aubrey!!!

On our way back, Deacon insisted on stopping at Snow Bunny, his favorite.
 A charming little place.
