"I promise you that if you will keep your journals and records, they will indeed be a source of great inspiration to your families, to your children, your grandchildren, and others, on through the generations. Each of us is important to those who are near and dear to us-and as our posterity read of our life's experiences, they too, will come to know and love us. And in that glorious day when our families are together in the eternities, we will already be acquainted. What could you do better for your children and your children's children than to record the story of your life, your triumphs over adversity, your recovery after a fall, your progress when all seemed black, your rejoicing when you had finally achieved? Some of what you write may be humdrum dates and places, but there will also be rich passages that will be quoted by your posterity. We hope you will begin as of this date." ~Spencer W. Kimball

"In family relationships, love is really spelled t-i-m-e." _Dieter F. Uchtdorf

A persons own family is without a doubt, the greatest wealth that we will ever possess. Treasure every moment and take the time to ensure that the story you create is one that you will be proud of and look back on with a huge smile.

NEW YEAR'S EVE!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

WHILE WE WERE MAKING CHOCOLATE COVERED PRETZELS, DAD KEPT COMPLAINING OF CHEST DISCOMFORT AND SHORTNESS OF BREATH. WE ENDED UP IN THE ER WITH HIM AGAIN. HE HAD A HEART ATTACK IN 2007 AND WE KNOW HE STILL HAS SOME MORE BLOCKAGES BUT HE CAN'T HAVE AN ANGIOPLASTY TO OPEN THE BLOCKAGES BECAUSE OF CHEMO AND HIS PLATELET COUNT. SO WE THOUGHT WE BEST BE SURE IT WASN'T HIS HEART. AFTER LAB AND AN EKG, THE DOCTOR SAID HIS HEART LOOKED GOOD AND WAS CERTAIN HE WAS HAVING AN ANXIETY ATTACK.

My crazy boys having fun with their dad.

WE GOT HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL IN TIME TO RING IN THE NEW YEAR, FAMILY STYLE.
JOSIE WAS FALLING ASLEEP SO WE CELEBRATED NEW YORK'S TIME WITH HER.

WE DID PARTY CRACKERS WITH THE CHILDREN FOR CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR'S EVE!
THEY LOVE THEM!

WE'RE MISSING OUR GISELLE AND JOSIE IN THIS PICTURE. PLUS WE HAVE BROOKLYN, A CUTE GIRL ANSON IS DATING.

Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right.

Christmas 2016 (Part 2)

Giselle left on the 27th and Richie, Chrislynn, and the children arrived on the 27.

Chrislynn made this hat and scarf for Brianna.
So cute!

My beautiful angels!

Dad went to visit the ER for his bowel obstruction.
He was experiencing a lot of pain, and vomiting.
Richie went with us and waited with us.
He also gave Dad a blessing.

THE LOVE OF A FAMILY IS LIFE'S GREATEST BLESSING.

Merry Christmas 2016

Giselle arrived on Christmas Eve!
We had a beautiful Chirstmas.

A gift from Giselle.
The painter is Barbara S. Edwards.
Giselle modeled for this painting... Jacob's well.
I can't believe it's mine!
I can't wait to frame it!!!

These two have such and amazing bond.
So much love!

The love in our family flows strong and deep,
leaving us memories to treasure and keep.
